ARO Apartments — Downtown Chicago

How this works. The City of Chicago publishes no live per-unit availability feed — ARO units lease first-come, first-served directly through each building's leasing office. This page lists every ARO building in your four neighborhoods from the City's official registry, with one-tap Call and Apply-search links so you can check turnover directly. A daily cron watches the registry and raises the alert banner above whenever a new ARO building registers (an initial lease-up — the one availability event that is reliably automatable).

Eligibility. Generally household income at or below 60% of Area Median Income (some units up to 80–100% AMI), with a 40% rent-to-income test. Apply directly through each building's leasing agent.
